After cancelling a previous show scheduled at Casino Rama, the Pop-singer decided to make up for it this time with a great show.

In March, Casino Rama planned to have Thicke perform for them, however according to sources he wasn’t able to come out due to “vocal issues.” Luckily the singing-star wanted to honor his commitments, as on July 26th fans rushed to the casino, that is based a mere two hours from Toronto, to see Thicke put on a great show.

Gambling news reports that following his performance, he expressed his remorse over not being able to show up for the concert previously. “I’m sorry we couldn’t be here a few months ago,” Thicke said.

The singer has been trying to get his life in order, as he is struggling with the separation from his wife, Paula, and achieving lower than expected commercial results with his album, also Paula.

Canadian roots

Thicke, who is partly Canadian, was accompanied by his family at the concert. His grandfather, cousins and aunts were all in attendance at the casino that is located just two hours North of Toronto, which boasts some of the best Canadian poker rooms.

Thicke honored his grandfather in the audience and also commented on his Canadian blood-line. “What an honor and a pleasure it’s been to be back here. My grandfather is here tonight. God bless the patriarch of the family. I have so much family here in Canada and that’s why it’s such an honor to come back here!”
